Bio & Experience:

Scot oversees the planning, development and execution of our clients’ marketing and advertising activities. In addition, he leads our public health team in West Virginia and Montana, where the agency has produced significant gains for both states in tobacco education/cessation and opioids awareness  for youth, young adults

and older adults– as well as overall behavior change and social norming in a wide variety public health topics. His experience also includes focused communications work with special populations, such as American Indians.

 

With more than 25 years of advertising experience, Scot is an expert at using research, branding, creative messaging and cost-effective media strategies – including traditional and digital media. Scot worked his way up in the agency by moving across department platforms. He bought media, learned how to negotiate the best price points; managed television and radio productions, provided valuable direction in the creative process; and worked with clients, developing strategic plans and evaluating campaign results. His unique experience and perspective give the agency an exceptional viewpoint when planning and executing marketing and advertising activities.

 

Scot’s campaigns have won awards from the Public Relations Society of America and American Advertising Federation to the acclaimed Telly Awards. He’s also spoken at many public health conferences around the country about effective marketing/advertising strategies and effective communications. Scot holds a Bachelor’s Degrees in Journalism/Advertising from Marshall University – GO HERD!
